Children, regardless of where they live, should experience the world through cultural programs, hands-on experiences, trips to places outside their neighborhood, and one-to-one mentorship. WTEF helps equalize access to opportunities with innovative program grants that allow schools and teachers to bring experiences to students in the classroom.

More than ever before, parents realize that school is much more than just an education for children and youth -- it is a place to be loved, a place to eat, a place to try new things, and a place to discover who they are and what they love to do. Teachers, who extend themselves personally and professionally to handle a variety of student needs, personalities, academic levels, and learning styles, need to know that the community is on their side, believes in their ideas, and is grateful for their heroism in the classroom. With this in mind, WTEF strives to be a community catalyst that inspires your support of public education in the M.S.D. of Wayne Township.
